Excellence Without Compromise
Faith West Academy
Excellence Without Compromise is the mission statement of Faith West Academy,
the oldest and largest private school in Katy. Faith West Academy has an
enrollment of over 670 students in pre-school through 12th-grade. The school
operates on the principles of the Christian faith and incorporates these
principles in its purposes, goals, procedures and operations. The
interdenominational student body is rooted in Christianity representing over
165 area churches.
FWA is fully accredited through International Christian Accrediting Association.
The teaching staff is fully degreed in academic disciplines from elementary to
high school. Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools State Teacher
of the Year 2005 and State Coach of the Year 1996 and 2006 are on staff.
FWA students enjoy a full range of academic, extracurricular, and spiritual

Who We Are. What We Do.
Huntington Learning Center
Founded in 1977 by Dr. Raymond and Eileen Huntington, Huntington Learning Center
is the original provider of supplemental education services to children in the
United States. By adhering to one basic principle
—to help children reach their potential—Huntington has grown to over 300 centers nationwide.
Typically, parents contact Huntington Learning Center because they believe their
child can do better in school. They offer supplemental instruction in reading,
mathematics and study skills, as well as phonics, spelling, vocabulary and
writing. They also offer 1-1 instruction in SAT/ACT test preparation. In
addition to improving basic skills, their program boosts self-confidence,
motivation and school performance.
