Mother’s Day

On May 7, a pre-Mother’s Day Special was held at the Murray’s residence in Seven Meadows. This event was filled with beautiful mothers, including expectant moms, new moms, moms with teen age children and finally, grandmothers. The mothers played Mother ’s Day IQ test and many heartwarming games. Special honor goes to Alijandra Hamito, an 81-year-old, mother of 11 children and grandma of 29.

Putt Like a Master

2009 Masters Champion Angel Cabrera made a surprise guest appearance at the Putt Like a Master with Charlie Epps event held at The Houstonian Golf & Country Club. The evening began with a putting clinic by Charlie Epps, director of The Golf Academy and putting instructor for Angel Cabrera, and culminated with Cabrera wowing the audience when he holed 35, 5-foot putts in a row followed by a 60-foot putt. It was an amazing exhibition! Angel also delighted the club ’s up-and-coming golfers when he posed for a group photo at junior golf camp.
