Firethorne Kindles the Spirit of the Holidays

Jingle Bell Holiday Party.
Firethorne kindled the spirit of the season with traditional holiday flair for
its Jingle Bell Party. Greeted at the Visitor Center by
“Firethorne Elves” (Katy-area teens decked out in red customized Firethorne sweatshirts and Santa’s hats) and an old-fashioned horse-drawn sleigh. Guests enjoyed entertainment by
costumed Christmas carolers, a buffet and drawings for a variety of gift
prizes.
Among those attending the Firethorne festivities were Firethorne General Manager
Wayne Meyer and his wife, Carol, and their daughter, Meg; Jefferson Development
’s Robert White and wife, Dee; Jones & Carter’s Bobby Jones and wife, Myra; Katy ISD’s Martha Brown; Triple Stephens owner Van Martin and wife, Kendra; Pam and
Clayton Black; Firethorne Marketing Director Janet Burkett and husband, Greg;
and Firethorne Builder Relations Manager Vicki Welsch.
Representing the Firethorne builder team were Perry Homes’ Brian Pollard, Michelle Lo, Dwight Denton and Randy Henson; Highland Homes’ Morgan O’Neal; and David Weekley Homes’ Jimmy Anglum and Sandee Horton and her husband, Charles. Coventry Homes,
Partners in Building and Plantation Homes round out the Firethorne builder
team.
Firethorne, located in the acclaimed Katy ISD, features 150 acres devoted to
parks and recreational amenities, a sparkling 12-acre lake with surrounding
greenbelt, sports fields, hike/bike trails, parks and playgrounds,
discovery-rich wildlife observation area and a natural bird habitat.
