Katy VFW Post 9182 believes in tradition, in keeping history alive, and in
honoring the men and women of the armed services who have put their lives on
the line throughout history to keep America
free.
Since their institution as a Post, the members of VFW Post 9182 have ensured
that area veterans of all foreign conflicts are not forgotten.
They have recognized veterans in many ways, from awarding late-issued medals, honoring fallen heroes by
serving as honor guard at funerals, feeding and hosting a regiment of troops on
maneuvers passing through Katy, or honoring past and present service men and
women at various memorial ceremonies and parades. The post actively supports
those fighting men and women considered
“their own.” That was the way it was then and the way it is today.
