The Recreation Room, designed by Sylvia Fullerton and Patricia Dashiell, evokes the feeling of warmth and
masculinity found in a British pub. Focal pieces included a billiard table and knotty alder bar. The Colonial touch came from accessories of heavy, decorative pewter.

Eco friendly features: Low VOC paint and durable, resilient carpeting.
The Carriage House, designed by Amilee Wendt, serves as a small guest apartment. It featured chrome rocking chairs covered with contemporary Donghia fabric. The kitchen backsplash is imported Venetian glass mosaic tile.
Eco friendly features: Water-based acrylic paints and a natural animal-hide rug.

The Summer Kitchen, designed by Diane Alexander and her students from the Art Institute of Houston, is an entertainer ’s delight. The Texas stone for the fireplace and countertops was harvested in the state, and the strategically-placed plants were grown locally at Brookwood Community.
Eco friendly features: Art pieces made from recycled materials, conservation landscaping and locally-produced natural products.

Andrea Garrity set out to create a dining room with versatility, neither formal nor casual, rather a satisfying mix of old and new to create genuine warmth. “The inviting feel in this dining room is brought out with warm colors used in the faux application on the walls and ceiling, ” Garrity said. The estate purchased glass chandelier adds a touch of understated elegance and the perfect amount of light to accent the beautiful furniture pieces and Oriental rug. “The use of a round dining table and banquettes shows the versatility in this space. It is a wonderful area for an intimate dinner party. This dining room will not only encourage an appetite, it will ignite intelligent conversation and memorable experiences, ” said Garrity.
All furniture and accessories have been removed from the house, but the wall coverings, flooring and attached fixtures remain for the future buyers. Call  Prudential Gary Greene in The Woodlands Custom Homes Sales office to view the home, 281-367-4550.
