The Katy Christian Women’s Connection will offer Bible studies at the Fellowship at Cinco Ranch Church, 22765 Westheimer Parkway.
Upcoming classes include: James—The Christian Faith beginning March 16 from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. This challenging study will result in changed attitudes and behavior.
Christ In The Home will be offered from March 24-May 5 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. This study provides direction for establishing and maintaining a Christian home.
Discover biblical principles for improving the communication in your family in the class Communication In the Family beginning March 24 at 1 p.m. Learn how to communicate effectively with your spouse, small children, teens, others and God.

rhoads elementary mural
project fundraiser, march 19

ARTreach is hosting events at Berryhill Baja Grill in Cinco Ranch on March 19 and April 16 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m to help fund the Rhoads Elementary Mural Project.
Rhoads is an underserved school with limited PTA resources, and needs help from the community to help cover the costs associated with a mural.

The Cimarron Swim Team will hold registration for the 2010 summer season on the following dates: March 27, April 10 and April 17 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

luck of the draw!, March 27
Luck of the Draw! is an ARTreach Spring Fundraiser organized by the Gallery at Villagio on March 27. For a $100 donation to ARTreach, guests will draw a number and take their turn going to the wall
and selecting the art work they most desire.
Art work is being created by artists in the
community just for this event. There will be plenty of eclectic and traditional art work to choose from. This is a Gallery at Villagio event organized to support ARTreach. A limited number of tickets will be sold in advance and at the door. The private reception at The Gallery begins at 7 p.m.

Club Plant and Bake Sale,

Members of the Nottingham Country Garden Club will have their annual Fundraising Plant and Bake Sale on March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Kroger ’s at 569 S. Mason Road.

charity golf tournament for cystic fibrosis, march 29
Laureate Theta Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi has scheduled a golf tournament to raise funds for Research into Cystic Fibrosis on March 29 at Stephen F. Austin Country Club.
The format is a four-man scramble with a shotgun start beginning at noon. Entry fee is $75 each player or $300 for four-person team and includes green fee, cart, soft drinks and lunch. There will be longest drive and closet to the pin contests. Sponsorships are available.

kira sushi hand pulled noodle show, tuesdays, thursdays and
saturdays at 8 p.m.
A new food preparation show is happening three nights a week at Kira Sushi for the entertainment of diners. Kira ’s noodle expert, Wilson Wang, presents an exciting Hand Pulled Noodle Show using Dragon Beard Noodles. The show and Wang ’s talents are designed to impress audiences. Celebrate the Lord’s resurrection on Sunday, April 4, at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. followed by an egg hunt for children 11 and younger. The Easter worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

pattison elementary Kindergarten “Round UP” night, april 7
Kindergarten “Round UP” night at Pattison Elementary is set for April 7 at 6:30 p.m. It’s a general information meeting for parents and children. Greet the teachers, see the classrooms and receive enrollment packets.
Students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2010, to enter kindergarten. Registration begins April 8 and continues each day from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m. until June 11.
All other new students for the 2010-2011 year may also register at that time. Enrollment will be closed over the summer break and resumes Aug. 10.

West “mutt” ster dog walk, april 17
Special Pals will host a West “Mutt”ster Dog Walk on April 17 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. by the fountain in LaCenterra, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd. This event will benefit the homeless animals at the shelter in need of medical care.

KCM’s A Night to Remember with Tom DeLay, April 23

“JUNCTION BOYS” TO BE HONORED
AT BENEFIT FOR TEXAS CHILDREN’S CANCER CENTER, april 27
Texas Children’s Cancer Center hosts its sixth annual “An Evening with Texas Legends,” presented by Wells Fargo honoring 20 Texas A&M University “Junction Boys” on April 27 at The Hilton Americas Hotel.
The football heroes will be interviewed live by legendary sportswriter Mickey Herskowitz. They will provide extraordinary insight into their personal experiences during the 10 grueling days at the now-famous summer football camp coached by Paul “Bear” Bryant in Junction, Texas in 1954.
A cocktail reception begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and interviews at 8:30 p.m.
