artreach needs additional sponsors
for programs serving adults with special needs
ARTreach needs additional sponsors for programs serving adults with special
needs, including weekly Music Making Workshops and the ARTreach Art
& Business Program, that teaches ARC of Katy participants how to create
functioning art items, ceramics, note cards and silk screened T-shirts that can
be sold to create income for other projects and important needs.
Demand for these ARTreach programs as well as free ceramic and clay making
workshops for residents in assisted living communities are rising. ARTreach is
seeking additional sponsors of their weekly studio workshops that invite the
medical care community and residents of assisted living communities to attend
the ARTreach Studio for free weekly art lessons, clay and ceramic classes.
These are creative field trips and social opportunities for elderly and
Alzheimer
’s patients staffed by ARTreach professional teachers and trained volunteers.
All levels of sponsorship are appreciated. A donation of $8 per person per week
is needed to help ARTreach raise $1,500 per month to cover the current number
of participants. New sponsorships will provide additional workshops to
accommodate a waiting list of agencies and assisted living communities.
For more information, contact Terri Bieber at 281-392-5341 or info@artreachonline.org. Tax deductible donations can be made online at www.artreachonline.org or mail to ARTreach, Extreme Technologies Inc. 12012 Wickchester Ste. 300,
Houston, TX 77450.
